本文结合物理、生物、马克思关于社会发展哲学的知识，并找到他们之间的统一性，意在建立一种宇宙发展的模型。“物竞天择，适者生存”这揭示了宇宙发展的一个规律，确定了宇宙的发展在一定条件下有它的方向，是不可逆的。如果根据差异的不同，把宇宙分成不同的级别来看，我们会看到不同级别之间惊人的可类比性，或者说是相似性，每个级别各自单位之间的差异在一定条件下，由一股万有统力把这些有差异的单位变成一个更稳定的整体，这就是进化的本质。电磁力的产生，万有引力的存在，原子的形成，化学反应的进行，细胞的形成，生物的进化和人类社会的发展是一个道理的，都是在相同的统一之力下变化，以求得一种稳定的过程。最后联系关于生物进化的理论与马克思关于社会发展的理论，用前面的结论将它们统一起来，更清楚更全面地来揭示生物的进化的过程。
