我觉得貌似没错...老师说用WHERE 或者IN WHICH...不能理解...不是说WHERE 不能够修饰主语的吗...那THE BASEMENT在这不是主语??@!

首先 保存某东西“于某地”
这个“于某地”翻译成英文需要是介宾短语 即 in someplace
因此The basement 与 my father kept the old furniture 的原句应该是 my father kept the old furniture IN the basement
所以定语从句假如用which(物的连接词）需加in
或者直接用where(副词连接词）
后面的句子缺的是地点状语 所以要用where in which 当后面缺的是主语时候使用which that 的
这句话的主体是The basement was full of mice,而my father kept the old furniture是修饰basement的定语,basement是表示地点的名词,所以在my father kept the old furniture前面缺的是地点状语,应该用where或in which.
