请教一句英文的时态

In the past I always thought they were unlucky so they were unhappy. I will not believe until I have this experience.
这句时态对吗？有错吗？

而且不只是时态的问题

根据你前面的说法，我理解的是“我以前一直认为他们是不幸运的所以他们也就是不幸福/快乐的”那么逻辑地想下去，后面接的应该是我后来的想法推翻了之前的。

大概的意思会是“直到我亲身经历了我才相信，其实不是这样的”诸如此类。。

但是 I will not believe until I have this experience.
这句的翻译的意思应该是我知道亲身经历了才相信（之前的想法）

not until是看上去否定，其实是肯定的。“知道。。。。。才。。。”
最简单的，中学最常考的句型：“I won't go to bad until I finish my homework.”----这句话的意思是“我直到做完作业才会上床睡觉”

另外关于语法问题：

I will not believe until I have this experience.
这里用将来时，我个人觉得不妥。

根据上文的意思，“我以前认为。。。。”说这样的话，其实是以现在的状态作为支持的，那么紧跟着，应该是“但是现在我。。。。”，显然是说现在想法改变了。

那么，怎么会是将来时呢？

其实用现在时也是不太合适（这个是我个人意见），用一般过去时比较说得通。
因为“我”，在目前为止，显然已经改变了，而不是正在改变或正要改变，是吗？

所以我的建议：
1.I would not believe until I had this experience.
2.I did not believe until I (have) had this experience.
3.I never believed until I (have) had this experience.
