【摘要】传统的手工记账主要靠财会人员通过手工记账 .算账 .报账. 查账及对会计信息数据的处理.统计.分析.判断乃至提供决策等过程完成,因此,财会人员工作量大,信息处理时间较长,同时在信息登记处理方面容易出现漏记，重记，错记，记反等现象，难以及时准确地为当局者提供信息资料．会计电算化是以”电脑”代替”人脑”实现记账，算账，报账，查账以及部分需要人脑完成的对会计信息（数据）的处理．统计.分析.判断乃至提供决策的财会分析过程，它可以加大会计核算的准确性，保证会计核算工作的及时性：能够更为充分地利用会计数据，为管理当局提供多方位的会计信息：也可以提高会计人员的业务素质，更好地做好会计核算，管理工作．从而，会计电算化对会计工作在信息质量，档案保管，人员要求，内控制度．审计工作，工作效率等方面带来了巨大变化，本文通过对电算化会计基本理论的概述，立足于我国会计工作发展的现状，认为基于计算机和网络技术下的电算化会计代替传统的手工会计将成为会计工作发展的必然趋势，在总结我国电算化会计发展过程中取得的成绩的同时，针对当前存在的问题作了深入研究，并进一步提出了解决方案．
