It is obvious that the above mentioned studies all involve conventional approaches to computer aided designs for hydraulic circuits. However, this study is an attempt toward research on an expert system in the hydraulic circuit of machine tools. The system also combines the newly emerging research direction of artificial intelligence machine learning.
An expert system for the purpose of engineering design must be equipped with the following functions:
