茶叶揉捻机是制茶机械中的重要组成部分。伴随着茶叶消费的增长，茶叶的加工技术的改进，产生了大量制茶机械。例如，杀青机、揉捻机、烘干机、抄茶机等制造茶设备。随着国内产茶技术的发展，显然对于制造茶机械的要求将会日益提高。随着我国加入世界贸易组织，面对国际上许多发达国家先进技术的挑战，开发出能适应中国市场需求的成熟的技术和产品，将是迫切需要的。
本论文将尝试对茶叶揉捻机进行系统的设计与研究。具体的研究内容如下：
1.阐述了研制茶叶揉捻机的重要意义，并提出了本论文的主要研究内容。
2.在需求分析的基础上，提出了揉捻机的设计要求。参考国内先进的相关设备和技术提出了该设备的总体设计方案。
3.结合先进机械设计理论和一些相关知识对设备的机械系统进行研究并完成了上揉盘升降装置、上揉盘旋转装置、下揉盘旋转装置、机架结构的设计。
本机在设计过程中参考了其他同类机械的设计的长处，同时借鉴了其它机械的优点完成了揉茶机的设计。
本机总体上具有较高的性价比，具有很强的竞争力和很好的发展前景。
