“平时（平日里）” 怎么翻译最地道？

“平时”..就是“通常”的意思，英语中对“平时”没有说固定的词语，一般口语化多用“通常”。如：Normally, we go shopping once a week. 翻译时可以翻成：平时，我们一个星期购物一次。

“比较”如果单独使用的话就用 comparative，但是如果说“比较怕他”的话，翻译就用不上前面那个了，可翻为：he makes me scare more than others.

“平时”翻译成normally 或 usually就好；
“比较怕他”我赞成翻译为 kind of afraid of him, 比较口语化的说法，很常用的。

1.Normally eg: He goes back at 7 normally.
2.Relatively eg:I am relatively afraid of him.
