To get to SFSU from SF Int'l Airport, my suggetion is to take a cab. There will be taxi stands throughout the airport. But it may cost you some money. However, if you are arriving the city for the first time, I strongly recommend that you take a cab because you don't know how to get your way around the city yet.

Or you can take public transportation, the BART. The BART actually has a lot of lines. From my understanding, you can catch the Dublin/Pleasanton--SFO/Millbare line, and take it to Daly City. It's not so far away. Get off at Daly City Station and the SFSU free shuttle will pick you up.
