现在我有一个问题想向您请教。虽然教授已经接受了我的申请，同意我来大学攻读医学博士学位，但是我在大学院医学系研究科博士课程学生募集要项中看到，攻读医学博士需要满18年学制。因为国内医学本科为5年制，所以我现在只具备17年学制。因此我想向您咨询，是否必须满18年学制才可以攻读博士学位？如果必须满足这一条件，那么是否可以先到实验室读1年研究生，以达到学制要求？或者可以通过什么其他的方式，来满足这一条件？

Now I have a question that requires your attention. Althought the professor has accepted my application and accepted me for the Medical Doctorate program, but I read in the admission requirement for the Medical doctorate program that at least 18 academic years term is required for admission. Because in China, medical undergraduate program are 5 years, I only have 17 academic years. Hence, I like to inquire, must you have 18 years to study for the medical doctorate degree? If so, could I satisfy the requirement by studying one year in the lab as masters student or is there other ways to satisfy the requirement. Please excuse this email intrusion.
