请教一个有关英语语法的问题

It is an overwhelming experience for our new immigrants to move into a new country, where the language, culture, and custom vary from our own. 请问以上这句话“where the language”中的“the”应不应该加上？谢谢

最好不用，一定要用的话，建议你用its。因为language, culture,custom这是一类物质名词。前面是不用the的。如果用它来表示特指的话有点不妥。而且读上去也有些别扭。

不加，抽象词都不加the
laguage应该是归属抽象词类的
