There be 句型.
如果用 it 做形式主语,后面要跟形容词,再加上非谓语动词做真正的主语,这里的不定式应该是表示目的,做修饰成分,那个need 明显不是形容词，和no 连用应该是名词。
用it 的句子也有，如下:
It is necessary for me to protect you.
对我来说保护你是必要的。
这个it 就是所谓的形式主语了。这里的不定式才是真正的主语。It is necessary 是主谓表结构。
