本文从英语语言中的性别歧视现象,出现的原因及其发展变化三方面分析得出结果,语言的形成是一个长期的历史过程,跟一个国家地区的文化习俗,历史背景紧密联系,要真正从语言上消除这种性别歧视成分,必须改变人们惯常的思维模式,而这个过程需要男性和女性的共同努力.
