今年暑假，我拜读了《蝴蝶》这本英语科学读物，我从中学到了很多以前不知道的关于蝴蝶的知识。看完后我觉得十分惊奇，更多的还有惊艳，种类如此繁多的蝴蝶，每一类，每一只，都是如此美丽。身上花纹各异，翅膀形状更是无奇不有，令我啧啧称奇。
以前，总认为蝴蝶是再平常不过的东西了，并没有什么好探索的。但是我并没有想到，小小的一只蝴蝶上竟然藏着如此广博的学问。也让我意识到，学习科学就是要多多留意身边的事物，去想想关于这件事物的知识和问题，肯定会受到很大启发于创新。就像一只小小的蝴蝶它的身上结合了多少科学家智慧的结晶。我们一定要有一双善于观察的眼睛，才能学好科学
既然是英语读物，在增加了科学知识的时候，同时吸收了英语知识，认识并掌握了很多单词，如sticky、enemy等等。也让我意识到，我的英语知识面是十分狭隘的，应该多读多写多听多背，这样做才能快速提高英语能力。我十分喜欢英语，所以非常迫切的希望自己的英语能够快速提高，但是我知道，凡事都要慢慢来，踏踏实实的往前走。
