那什么时候用not，什么时候用don't

not是加在动词to de后面的如It is not yours.(它不是你的）
don't是直接加在主语后面的如I don't like you.(我不喜欢你）

why not to ，why don't you

why not to do sth
why don't you do sth
意思一样
但是后者意思范围较窄些,因为是"你为什么不怎样怎样做",所以一般用于与对方的对话中
前者则不限于"你"
