Barak Obama uses more emotional appeals than logical ones. His words successfully convey his beliefs and hopes to the people of the nation. He also includes many rhetorial devices such as allusion, repetition, and parallel structures to impress the audience. My favorite quote from his speech is "This was one of the tasks we set forth at the beginning of this presidential campaign: to continue the long march of those who came before us, a march for a more just，more equal, more free,more caring, and more prosperous America."

I really like his idea "to narrow that gap between the promise of our ideals and reality of their time". He does a brilliant job in persuading that the people of the United States are really one by using his own family as an example. But I think that his goal is rather idealistic than practical.
