刚才的问题
his head still hurting and not yet awake,he stood up and walked down the inn stairs.
1.因为前一个部分好像缺少谓语,所以逗号前面应该不是一个句子吧,his head still hurting and not yet awake是整句话的什么成分?
2.如果是伴随状语的话 hurting 动名词通常是表伴随状态的我明白,但是 awake是什么词性???如果是形容词的话它是这样吗his head not yet awake,不是句子也不像短语,看起来怪怪的什么东西呀??
问题补充：还有个类似的问题
the weather admitted,we can go out for picnic.
3.the weather admitted是句子吗,是句子的话两个分句之间应该有连词呀,此句没有
4.admitted是什么词性?动词?形容词?过去分词?

这是分词的独立结构。没有错误。
你说的前一个部分没有谓语，是的，没有谓语，因为后半句就是完整的句子。
例如，His nose bleeding, he came back home.
独立的部分就是表示伴随。
awake 是形容词，his head not yet awake.这个独立结构少了谓语 was.原本完整的句子是his head was not yet awake. 独立结构就相当于没了谓语，这样就不难理解为什么用awake了吧？
the weather admitted,we can go out for picnic.
这个同样是独立结构。你可以查一下独立结构的有关用法。
常见的一个类似句子是
