我原先申请的学校要求如果有雅思成绩5.5就不用参加他们在上海的英语考试。我刚刚拿到成绩，在5.5。我想写一封邮件询问现在级成绩过去还来得及么？能不能不用参加那个考试了。

I would like to tell you that I just got my IELTS test result on Sep.19,2008, which was lacking in my necessary documents delivered to you, and the result is 5.5，that is in accordance with your standard.In this case I would like to know that if I can be exempted from your language examination and entrance examination，provided I mail my IELTS score to you immediatly？ I am really very sorry to have my IELTS test a bit later, so would you be so kind to agree my exemption of the language examination and entrance examination？because I am not living in Shanghai.
