9. LIFE CYCLE STATES AND REVISIONS
9.1 Life Cycle States
The following table defines the Life Cycle States which shall be applied to documents
generated or obtained for the project. Each Life Cycle State has a single code
associated with it, which is used as part of the Revision. The use of the Life Cycle
State code as part of the Revision is explained in the following sections.

CONTRACTOR shall only assign Life Cycle State codes from Phase 3 (FEED) until
such time as the Project officially enters phase 4 (detailed design). Contractor shall
issue all Documents to COMPANY at the first life cycle after Interdisciplinary Review
in the applicable phase of the project, and each time the Document is revised
thereafter. CONTRACTOR may be required to submit a copy of Documents to
COMPANY at the time it is issued for interdisciplinary check as needed or the
Agreement requires.
