the dinasaurs 前面不用which吗？为什麼可以省略呢？它在句中是定语吗？

call...into question的意思是 质疑..吗?

对！the climates 这里做in的宾语。先行词做宾语时，which可以省略的。

the climates(which) the dinasaurs lived in which 可省略
the climates in which the dinasaurs lived 这个时候不可省略
两者就这点差别。
如果从句中的动词是及物动词，前边的which/that 可以省略
如果是不及物东西，如果介词不提前，也可以省略的

在口语中基本上都是省略的：）
