Instead of starting with "Other than" again, maybe think of another work to link this paragraph from the previous, could use "Beside", or something like "It is not the only uncomfortable feeling Spiegelman has with Vladek's lifestyle as a shadow casting over him, he also feels...." to avoid repetition.
