Jack carved(雕刻) a "J" one metre above rhe ground in the trunk of a tree. If the tree grows 10 centinetres each year, how far off the ground will the mark"J" be in the five years?

对了 答案是1m哦 解释一下子。为什么啊。感激不尽^_^

原来刻的时候“J”字母的高度在离地面一米上，树长高的时候是顶部不停的长出树枝然后树枝再继续长，和根部就是和地面靠近的部分没什么关系，所以就是原值

因为树的长大的是原来的部分不动然后直接从上面发上去的，你就想象成直接在原来的树上面接一根棍子；而不是好像你把他的根拔上来的，那样的话就不只一米了

Because the tree doesnt grow from the bottom... its branches grow, which means that its top grows...
