result为什么不用成复数results???

把疾病和不幸笼统的看做一种状况 一种结果
因为result是用来修辞法术,魔术的,所以是单数.
语法上两种都可以，实际中the result of ... 用得较多一些，更符合语言习惯。
the后面很少用复数…
这里的result意义集合化了，代表了“sickness and misfortune”的综合。
可以按照“We're a family.”这种情况类似的理解。
名词出现一般3种情况：
1，单数: a result
2,复数： results
3,加the: the result
