Long ago in a small, far away village, there was place known as the House of 1000 Mirrors. A small, happy little dog learned of this place and decided to visit. When he arrived, he bounced happily up the stairs to the doorway of the house. He looked through the doorway with his ears lifted high and his tail wagging as fast as it could. To his great surprise, he found himself staring at 1000 other happy little dogs with their tails wagging just as fast as his. He smiled a great smile, and was answered with 1000 great smiles just as warm and friendly. As he left the House, he thought to himself, "This is a wonderful place. I will come back and visit it often." In this same village, another little dog, who was not quite as happy as the first one, decided to visit the house. He slowly climbed the stairs and hung his head low as he looked into the door. 在同样的村子里，有另外一只小狗，它却不像第一只小狗一样快乐，可是它也决定要去一探这所房子的究竟。它慢悠悠的爬上楼梯，无精打采的垂著头。当它向屋里看去时，它看到了1000只冷漠的小狗正在盯著它看，於是它向它们发出了呜呜的警告声，然而它却惊恐的发现那1000只小狗也同样的向它发出了相同的警告。当它离开时心想，“那真是一个破地方，我永远也不要再去哪里了。”

很久以前，在一个偏远的小山村里，有一所有着一千面镜子的房子（我们叫它千镜屋吧^^）。一只快乐的小狗知道了这个地方后，决定去看一看。当它到达时，开心地跳上通往屋前大门的台阶。它竖着耳朵，快速的摆动着爪子，往门里一瞧，让它吃惊的发现自己看到了另外1000只快乐的小狗正像它一样在摆动着爪子。它露出了一个大大的微笑，而同样的，另外一千只小狗也回报了它一千个友好的温暖的笑容。当它离开镜屋后，它对自己说，这真是个美好的地方，我以后会经常回来看看的。 在同一个山村里，有着另一个小狗，它也决定去看看这所房子，可它并不像前一只小狗那样的快乐。 它慢慢的爬上台阶，低垂着脑袋望进门里， 它看到了一千只不友好的小狗正盯着它，于是它对着它们咆哮，却惊恐的看到另外这一千只小狗也同样的对它咆哮。它离开时告诉自己，这是个可怕的地方，我再也不会来了。
