As you may be aware, the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) has identified an initial list of Substances of very High Concern (SvHCs) in accordance with the REACH Directive. We expect this list to be formally adopted and published at any time. The REACH requirement is for sellers or importers of articles or materials into the EU to inform their customers (downstream users) if any of the articles or materials contains any of the SvHCs in excess of .1% by weight (1000 ppm). In order to support this legal requirement Tyco Electronics requires that the attached REACH survey be completed and returned no later than (enter date – suggest no more than 1 week out).
If you are supplying Packaging Trays or Packaging Tubes using PVC material, you are required to supply the information on the attached survey.
If you are supplying Trays or Tubes that use material other than PVC, you are still required to fill out
