当你在书店里面被各种书籍吸引的时候，你要当心了。很容易发生这种情况：你到书店去找一本，比如说是有关古代货币的书，出来的时候却抱着目前的畅销小说---也许只是本翻印的书（盗版的）。它们只是不经意间吸引你去关注它们。
然而，这个方面的书籍，也许只是碰巧被（书店）列举出来（打出广告），然后你看了其中一部分感觉非常有趣，然后你就去给它们买单。这类事情非常危险的，你除了会浪费大笔的金钱，还会在你从这一部分浏览到那一部分的时候浪费大量的时间。书商们一定会（从你的行为中）受益很多。
在书店中闲逛的时候，你必须特别小心不要被那里种类繁多的书本所吸引．原本你只想在书店里买一本有关古钱币的书，但是你出来的时候手上却拿着一本最近的最畅销小说或是一本有关黄铜复制品的书，这样的事情是很容易发生的，而事实上当时你只是模模糊糊被它们吸引住了而已．
