摘 要
法律服务与改革开放和现代化建设息息相关，经历了从无到有的快速发展过程。近年来我国法律服务有了很大发展，在经济、政治、文化以及社会生活的各个领域发挥着重要的作用，为我国民主法制建设和经济建设健康发展，为维护社会的公平正义和社会和谐稳定做出了积极贡献。随着社会经济的发展，作为现代服务业重要组成部分的法律服务也必将迎来一个良好的发展趋势，加入WTO，对推动我国法律服务业的进一步发展，有着重要的意义，虽然促进国际间法律服务的合作与交流经过三十多年的发展，我国法律服务业取得了很大成就，但与外国同行相比，我们还有很大差距，这就需要我们不断努力，缩小差距，科学分析，全面认识，采取措施，积极应对，才能趋利避害，适应经济全球化和一体化的历史趋势，在国际交往中发挥积极的作用。本文通过归纳、比较等方法对我国法律服务业的概念、特点及加入WTO后我国法律服务业存在的问题及面临的挑战进行了一次全面的分析和总结，并提出了相应的建议与措施。
