两条定语从句

We stood at the top of
the hill,______we could see as far as the sea.这为什么填from where ?where不是副词么，前面怎么能加介词？
When did you leave China,Mr Wang ?

为什么这里填when 不是强调句型么？为什么不填that

where词性仅两种，adv.（副词）和conj.（连词）

这里的where确实是副词

先看这样的句子

He came out suddenly from behind the door.

这个例句中，from直接跟上了副词短语 behind the door

再看一句再熟悉不过的

Where are you from?

改为陈述句就是 You are from where.

也是from 直接加上副词where

我想说的是，语言是灵活的。语法产生在语言产生之后。所谓语法，它尽量总结语言里的规律，但它未必能概括的了所有。

这里填when，作时间状语从句，对 20 years ago 作进一步的解释

填that，语法上无误，但表示 我是二十年前进哈佛的 ，无法回答上文提出的问题

第一个是非限制性定语从句，中文的意思应该是we could see from the sea as far as we can ,有介词在的时候是不可以省略的，就放到前面了！
第二个因为前面的时间正是后面句子的时间状语，要不后面的句子就没有时间状语了！

1是这样用的哈·to see from someplace,WHERE替代那个地方就是FROM WHERE了三·
2这里不是强调哈·强调就成了我是在20年前被哈弗录取的哈·跟问题就文不对题了·这里只是修饰二十年前而已·IT'S只是代时间的代词，就像说IT'S SIX NOW一样
