The curriculum was also revised to address some of the problems of coherence that showed up in the CoVis Global Warming Conference curriculum. In the LeTUS Global Warming Curriculum developed in 1998, the motivating context is still provided by an international global warming conference, but rather than playing the role of participants in that conference, the new curriculum establishes their role as scientific advisors to the participants.
