gala与celebration有什么区别？

通过英文释义可以明白它们的区别，

Gala
Noun:
a gay festivity
可以看出，两者都是节日，但是gala强调欢快，而celebration正式而且严肃solemn，可以用于宗教庆典，这是两者不同之处

gala有庆典的意思，没那么正式，而且用法比较fashion。Celebration有纪念日内种庆祝的意思，比较传统一点，给人感觉比较古板，庆典内容不能乱搞。我是这么理解的

celebration多用于庆祝一些胜利成功的事！
而春节晚会是一个习俗！
