My Chinese New Year

I had a great Chinese New Year. On the first day of the Chinese New Year, my parents and I visited my grandparents. They lived in the suburb of the city. When we got there, they were busy preparing for dinner. I saw my uncles, aunts, and my cousins were also there, and we helped my grandparents making dumplings. We had a very good dinner. Besides dumplings, we had duck, chicken, fish, beef, pork, and many vegetables. After dinner, I went out with my cousins to play fire works and fire crackers. There were many people on the street so it was very crowded. It was cold but we had a lot of fun. We came back when it’s getting dark.
