As an undergraduate student of Department of English, I had the opportunity to be exposed to the full range of English, all of which tended to enhance and solidify my unquenchable interest in English.In specialized studies, I excelled in both basic courses and advanced courses . I obtained excellent academic records and was awarded consecutive scholarships for two years.During my college years,I became more and more interested in translation and writing.My senior years was largely devoted to the two subjects and I earned A in each course.Last summer, I have furthered my knowledge of translation and understanding when helping my brother translate texts,such as case summaries,reports and letters.Through translation,I have strengthened the fundamental intellectual of translation and gained invaluable knowledge of syntax.
