search与search for俩个词组意思上有什么区别？

search后跟范围，for后面跟要找的对象。

比如 search the body就是搜身。
search the body for a gun.就是搜身找一把枪，当然，the body也能省略，表示寻找一把枪，search for a gun等于look for a gun。
