为什么不不是instead of increasing?

本人还是认为“instead of increasing”是对的，of后面应该是名词或动名词形式，估计答案是错的！

与前面的decreased 想照应。
而且instead of 后面加动词ing形式，是作为动名词来用的，动名词在句中当名词来用，你看空后面是名词，那空处是要填动词，而不是名词。
