目前，电解铝烟气净化方法分湿法净化、干法净化两种。湿法净化存在着水的二次污染和设备腐蚀问题，同时经过半年左右的运行，循环液中的Na2SO4含量逐渐增大，影响净化效果，温度低时有结晶析出而造成管道堵塞等问题。相比湿法净化，干法净化直接利用电解用的Al2O3吸收废气中的HF，具有效率高，无二次污染，操作简单，运行费用低的特点，因此得到了广泛的应用。
本设计对电解铝烟气干法净化设备的研究，旨在通过先在实验室进行冷态试验，获得反应器设计的最佳参数，然后推广到工业应用。通过本课题，以期望达到降低干法净化所需能耗、提高干法净化效率的目的，从而让电解铝产业走上一个可持续发展道路。
