网球运动作为一项历史悠久、高雅且具有较强竞技性和观赏性的体育项目，以其固有的魅力和价值在全球范围内日益普及和盛行。在我国，网球运动也得到了迅速的发展，网球运动已经成为倍受人们重视的集休闲、娱乐、健身为一体的运动项目，而且逐渐被现代大学生们所喜爱和接受，并在高校中正在逐步推广普及。网球运动在高校蓬勃发展，已经成为体育教学和课外锻炼的重要内容，但是因为学校自身存在的客观条件的制约，使得网球运动的开展并不顺利。目前，高校网球运动的发展条件与大学生对网球运动的需求之间日益扩大的矛盾是阻碍高校网球运动发展的一个主要问题，如何解决好这对矛盾，已经成为高校管理者和体育教学工作者所面临的一个重要课题。
本文通过文献资料法、问卷调查法、调查访问法等，对黑龙江省普通高校网球运动的开展现状进行调查研究，目的是对黑龙江省普通高校网球运动的现状进行一个客观的评价与分析，找出制约黑龙江省普通高校网球运动发展的影响因素，提出相应的发展思路和对策，为黑龙江省普通高校网球运动的普及和可持续发展提供理论参考依据。
研究结果：结果表明：
（1）网球作为一项健身运动，具有娱乐、观赏、健身的特点，而且大学生对参与网球运动的主动性、积极性高。
（2）黑龙江省普通高校网球场地缺乏，向学生免费开放时间过短，远不能满足学生对网球运动的需求。
（3）黑龙江省高校的网球专业师资匮乏，且网球教师教龄短，教学经验有待于积累，业务水平需要进一步提高。
（4）黑龙江省高校网球课程开设时间相对较短，网球课考核形式、内容相对单一。
（5）黑龙江省普通高校余暇体育锻炼中，网球运动在高校余暇体育中的开展情况较好。
（6）黑龙江省普通高校网球竞赛规模近几年来不断扩大。由于缺乏系统的组织领导，校内网球竞赛活动开展随意性很大。
提出建议：
（1）加大网球运动宣传力度，提高学校领导对网球运动的重视程度
（2）增加网球活动的硬件设施，学校相关部门提供更多的经费建设网球场地设施。
（3）加强网球运动师资力量，提高教师教学水平，做好培养和引进网球运动人才的工作。
（4）明确网球课程开设目的，增加体育课程设置年限，改进课程内容。
（5）加强高校校园网球文化建设，增加课余活动的时间。
（6）积极开展高校间
