如何成为一名翻译工作者

我曾经是一名全职笔译，我可以很负责地告诉你做英语笔译很不容易。首先是客观原因，现在的翻译公司的规模都较小，只有少数几个译审是全职的，然后在外面招兼职。而且受外贸影响，整个行业不景气，我就是这样被cut的。其次，做翻译的话六级太低了，起码专业八级，最好考全国翻译资格证书。再次，笔译大多要英语专业的，如果你不是英语专业，一定要有至少一个领域的专业知识。如果你真的很想做翻译工作，你可以经常到百度上帮人翻译，或是到译言网锻炼。

做口译的话，起码要考个高口。完全的口译通常是兼职的。但是这个工作强度很大，要知识面广，事先做大量准备。精神也很紧张。这个我是听我大学老师说的，她以前给克林顿做过口译。

I graduated from International Trade major, Pass The CET6, a few years after graduation to do foreign trade.
