卡加立每年七月都会举办世界最大规模的户外表演－卡加立牛仔竞技大赛 (Calgary Exhibition & Stampede)，在为期10天的赛程中，除了观赏精采的比赛，卡加立的居民还会穿戴牛仔装扮，享用免费的煎饼早餐，跳方块舞热闹的游行。
【卡加立塔 Calgary Tower】
建于1967年，高度为1908公尺，由塔底到最顶层共有762级阶梯，搭高速电梯需62秒钟，在最顶层有酒吧，供应各种饮料、简餐及点心。十一层是观景台(Obser vationTerrace)，在观景台下层「Panorama Room」是一家旋转餐厅，在此用餐不但可享受美味佳肴，而且由于餐厅本身会慢慢的旋转，所以您无需离开座位，即可一览无遗地欣赏卡加立巿每一个角落的景致。
【中国城 Chinatown】
在卡加立市东端，是一座小型中国城，其中约有2千名左右的居民。中国移民于 1880 年代来到卡加立，参与铁路建造的工程，之后留在此地，成立进口食品市场、餐厅及进口商店。在中心内有博物馆和艺廊，展示中华文化史，另外还有礼品店和餐厅。
【奥林匹克公园 Canada Olympic Park】
此公园占地广达95公顷，当初是为1988年冬季奥运而建，设有滑雪跳台、雪橇、自由式滑雪，及残障者比赛等项目。现在该公园一年四季提供有各种不同的活动来吸引游客，在冬季，因有造雪机的帮助，卡加立市民可以在11月就享受到滑雪的乐趣，有许多国家级和国际级的运动竞赛会在此举行。
【牛仔竞技公园 Stampede Park】
