应用较正式的语言，不宜用Hi。如果xxx先生就是xx大学的人，你应该说 My name is... I applied to your university for ...(干什么，最好加上什么时候)， but to my regret， I learned that the information I have given to you is not complete. Now I have got the information from my high school and am sending this to you at the earliest possible moment.
