将全班同学分成若干组，四人一组；以座位为序分成三大队；每队有四个竞争小组。课文分成三部分，每一部分划分给一个队。要求学生预习课文时要做到：会读会译。正式讲解时，抽签确定各队由哪个组上来接受全班同学的检查。小组讲解的要求是：读一句翻译一句，四人都须有任务，或读或译；声音洪亮，由于听不清被抗议达三次即算没完成任务：读或译的过程中有错误的地方，经指出后需一一改正过来，达到纠错成功；根据纠错情况，酌情给予“学习态度”分和“虚心改正”分。其中，竞争小组的作用是关注竞争对手在台上的讲解。
它的优点是：(1)使预习在语法学习上更有针对性。
(2)加强单词与课文的紧密联系，在大声朗读中锻炼新词的发音。
(3)深度训练学生的注意力和洞察力，使其思维能力得到不断优化和提高：
