专业简介
A 培养目标：本专业培养具备化学的基本理论、基础知识和较强的实验技能，能在科研机构、高等学校及企事业单位从事科学研究、教学、生产及管理工作的高级专门人才。
B 培养要求：本专业学生主要学习化学方面的基础知识、基本理论、基本技能以及石油化工、石油工程（油田化学）和精细化工等方面的工程技术知识，受到化学基础研究和石油化工、石油工程（油田化学）和精细化工等应用基础研究方面的科学思维和科学实验训练，具有较好的科学素养，具备应用所学知识和实验技能进行应用研究、技术开发和科技管理的基本技能。本专业毕业生应获得以下几个方面的知识和能力：
（1）掌握数学、物理和计算机等方面的基本理论和基本知识；
（2）掌握无机化学、分析化学、仪器分析、有机化学、物理化学、结构化学、化学工程及化工制图的基础知识、基本原理和基本实验技能；
（3）掌握石油化工、石油工程（油田化学）和精细化工领域的一般原理和基础知识；
（4）了解国家关于科学技术、石油化工、油田化学和精细化工产业、知识产权等方面的政策、法规；
（5）了解化学的理论前沿、应用前景、最新发展动态，以及石油化工、油田化学和精细化工产业发展状况；
（6）掌握中外文资料查询、文献检索以及运用现代信息技术获取相关信息的基本方法；具有一定的实验设计，创造实验条件，归纳、整理、分析实验结果，撰写论文，参与学术交流的能力。
C 培养对象：本科、四年，授予理学或工学学士学位。本专业有硕士学位和博士学位授予权。
D 主干学科：化学。
E 主要课程：高等数学、大学物理、基础外语、无机及分析化学、有机化学、物理化学、仪器分析、化工原理、石油化学、油田化学等。
F 主要实践性教学环节：包括综合化学实验、油田认识实习、化工厂现场实习、毕业设计（论文）等，共32周。
G 主要专业实验：无机及分析化学实验、有机化学实验、仪器分析
