摘要
数控机床加工仿真与优化不但可以实现数字化模拟加工还可以实现加工轨迹的优化，是现代制造业实现高效率、高质量、低成本的重要途径之一，目前大多数主流三维软件（Pro/E、CATIA、UG等）都已能实现刀具轨迹仿真，而美国CGTECH公司生产的VERICUT软件不但能实现刀具的轨迹仿真，还能逼真的模拟机床的运动及加工轨迹的优化，本文采用VERICUT软件对曲面的加工进行仿真并对加工过程进行优化，通过实例分析了基于VERICUT的加工仿真及优化设计全过程，结果显示通过优化使该零件的加工工时比优化前平均节省了75％。这对于当今数控制造业的生产效率提高及生产成本的降低是有重大意义的。
虚拟机床建模是数控加工仿真的基础，准确的建模是保证高效仿真的基本要求之一。本次设计在VERICUT中建立机床和刀具模型，在PRO/E软件里建好工件、毛坯和夹具模型，将其保存为STL格式并导入到VERICUT中，利用PRO/E软件中的自动编程功能生成仿真加工程序G代码，然后将其重命名为MCD格式并导入到VERICUT软件中，最后进行机床运动轨迹仿真与优化，并生成视频文件。
