Abstract: To make swine manures harmlessness and usefulness, Geotrichum Candidum, Yarrowia Lipolytica, Bacillus
Coagulans, Bacillus Stearothermophilus and Nocardia Spp were isolated from fresh swine manures and composted by
temperature resistance and suitability of liquid manure. Then they were designed as 15 different combinations through
orthogonal experiment of five factors and two levels to study effectiveness of the bacterium combinations for
composting. Statistical analysis indicated that Geotrichum Candidum and Bacillus Stearothermophilus were the optimal
microorganisms. Results indicated that inoculated bacterium to manures can raise compost temperature from 67℃ of
natural compost to 72℃, and elevated the available nutrients by 9.5%. Results show that selecting suitable
microorganism can transform swine manures into organic fertilizer.
