流行音乐已介入社会生活的各个领域，日渐成为广大青少年喜爱并积极参与的文化娱乐活动。流行音乐旋律舒畅优美，内容简单通俗、贴近生活并极具渲泄性，符合青少年的心理及情感消费的需求。针对流行音乐充斥校园的现象，笔者认为，应在音乐教育中根据教学目的、教学对象的年龄、心理、生理的不同，适当引入那些艺术价值相对高的流行音乐，教会学生鉴赏音乐的办法，提高他们的欣赏品味，并以此为锲机激发他们学习音乐的兴趣，扩大他们的音乐视野。同时，也要客观辨析出其消极或是副面的影响，从而更有效地引导青少年形成健康向上和富于创造活力的人生价值观。
