所以选that
但如果从句是they couldn't be found的话，那就应该选B了
即they (the wolves) couldn't be found in the places.

刚才少看了个the，如果从句中没有the的话就应该选D了。
1、A。places的定语从句，在从句中作主语，即：the places couldn't be found.只能用that.
2、B。
原句可理解为：the minute hand of the clock is six meters long.
clock提前，改为定语从句后为：This is .., of which the minute hand....
of which此处不能改为where作地点状语从句。
第二题选B应该是没问题了
大家想一下couldn't be found会不会指the wolves?
A.THAT可以做主语，而这里恰恰缺少主语
B。表示谁的分针
第二句话,我老师说过
应该是the minute of which...
所以我认为不能选B
