本设计主要进行了建筑设计和结构设计两个部分。在建筑设计中确定了建筑方案，绘制了建筑的平面图、立面图、剖面图、楼梯详图、墙身大样图、部分节点详图。结构设计分为手算部分和电算部分，手算先确定了计算简图（即取6轴线处的一品桁架进行计算），接着计算了地震作用下的各层重力荷载代表值，再利用顶点位移法求出自震周期，按底部剪力法计算水平地震作用下各层地震力的大小，最后得出水平地震作用下结构内力。接着计算了竖向荷载作用下的结构内力，然后进行了地震，恒荷，活荷作用所得内力的几种组合。最后利用内力组合的结果进行了结构构件的配筋。此外还通过pkpm电算完成了楼梯、雨蓬、地基的设计。
