高能超声波制备半固态金属浆料时所使用的超声波振动头一般由钛合金制造,而钛合金材料非常昂贵,使得其成本很高,无法大规模的使用到实际生产中。本研究的目的是试图寻找一种便宜的金属材料来取代昂贵的钛合金材料,使其成本大幅降低,以便于该技术在实际生产中的推广。
本文采用高能超声波搅拌法制备半固态Al-Si合金,研究不同材料的超声波振动头对半固态微观凝固组织的影响以及超声波振动时间对半固态微观凝固组织的影响。
实验中使用了4个超声波振动头,除钛合金振动头外,还有1个45号钢平顶振动头,1个45钢球状顶振动头,1个镍合金钢振动头。在Al-Si合金液固相线温度区内,用上述4个振动头分别伸入浆料中振动1m,在0.3m,0.5m,0.8m,1.0m时用石英管抽样。再在显微镜下观察微观组织。
实验结果表明,4个振动头都能够在一定程度上使组织细化,晶粒变得更加圆整。但相比之下,钛合金振动头的细化效果最好,其他3个振动的效果与之相比都还有一些差距。45号钢球状顶振动头更加接近钛合金振动头的效果,在某些要求不高的情况下可以代替钛合金振动头。
