take up和be filled with有什么区别

很清楚，楼主说的差不多的意思就是指的take up的“占据，占用”和be filled with"（被）充满，填满”的区别了。
举个例子，The thoughts takes up her mind.
和Her mind is filled with that thoughts.
第一句意思是说“她被那种思想占据了心。”
第二句：那种思想充满了她的心。
看起来差不多，但是占据和充满的区别楼主体会一下就清楚了吧？
另外，take up还有很多fiil with没有的意思。比如楼上所说的消耗（时间）的意思。

take up
1. 拿起; 抱起
He took up telephone receiver and began to dial.
他拿起电话听筒开始拨号码。
2. 占去
I won't take up much of your time.
我不会占用你很多时间。
3. 接受(提议)
I'd like to take up your offer of a ride into town.
我愿接受你的邀请, 搭你的车进城。
4. 继续
I put the telephone down and took up my work again.
我放下电话继续干我的活。

be filled with 充满着

container is filled with water.

doing homework takes up all my weekend,但这里就不能用filled with 了。 可以，但不自然。
