随着现代医学的发展,眼底图像的处理,在临床应用和理论研究工作中都具有重大意义,但在眼底图像的提取中由于医学成像系统的缺陷,眼睛本身的特殊构造,获取图像时因为光照的不均匀、眼底反射率低以及成像条件的限制,例如光照的不均匀、眼底反射率低、刺眼的强光、对焦不准,来自于反射、折射、散射造成的影响,致使所采集的图像具有背景不均及血管对比度弱的特点,眼底图像常常因为这些原因而使图像质量下降,使眼科医生很难看清楚。为了改善图像质量 ,获得更适于观察的图像,必须对图像进行增强以提高诊断精度。
本文针对眼底图像照度不均匀对比度低的特点采用基于照度-反射模型的的同态滤波增强方法,把图像的照明反射模型作为频域处理的基础,利用压缩亮度和增强对比度来克服光照不均匀,减少光照不足引起的图像质量下降,并对感兴趣的景物进行有效增强,同时对传统的直方图均衡化,灰度变换等图像处理方法进行了分析,并进行了比较。
实验表明,本文给出的图像增强方法对于一些图像取得了比现有的一些增强方法更好的增强效果,在很大程度保留图像原貌的同时,对图像细节进行了增强。
