当他们作为情态动词表肯定时，这两个词如何选择？

比如这句
Who's that at the door?
It would be the milkman.
其中would可用should替换吗？是不是只是语气差别？

再比如这句
You know the place well. You should have no trouble finding the way.
should可换成would吗？

should客观
would主观

SHOULD 应该……
WOULD 我想……

有关补充的：
从语法上 互换没有错误
但是翻译下差别就有些了
It would be the milkman.应该是milkman（我认为的）
It should be the milkman.一定是milkman(莫非农场的规定？）

You should have no trouble finding the way.
（按你的能力）肯定轻松找到路
would:能找到路的（带有客气)

我觉得你要很标准化的回答是很困难的，自己体会下吧

should 一般表示“应该”、“要”，经常在虚拟语气里用到；would 一般表示“会”、习惯性，没什么特别意思。

should是应该的意思，打个比方
你现在应该回去了
You should go back now

would是will的“礼貌用语”或者过去式。
打个比方说：
(礼貌用语）
我要点冰淇淋
I would like some ice cream

（过去式）
我会选黄色的那件
I would choose the yellow one

不是 should是必须的意思 would是Will的过去式
