为什么这里是are而不是have??

为什么不能说成：There have four children in the picture.

There (are) four children in the picture.

There have four children in the picture.
there之后不可以使用动词的

There be 句式是固定的用法，表示有。。。 是约定俗成的， 不能用语法去解释，就想你不会去问为什么赤道是南北半球的分界线一样

这里用的是there be 句型
